It’s a Thursday evening and all you want is to sit down with a glass of wine, put a film on and dig into a big old bag of crisps.
Fear not.. *drum roll*
Alright, so they aren’t really crisps but if there is anything to substitute a bag of kettle chips that taste just as good, then I would happily swap.
And I have officially found them. On a normal day i hate kale. Can’t stand the stuff. But sprinkle a bit of olive oil and salt and pepper and your laughing!
And its as simple as that. Think crispy seaweed from the chinese. Tastes just like that but so much better for you!!
Pre heat your oven to 175 degrees.
Take your kale and place on a large roasting tray. Spread evenly and take out any knobbly bits.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil. My first attempt I was too busy trying to take the photograph that I miscounted my amount of oil.
You really don’t need very much at all because when the oil heats up it will start to spread.
Then add your salt and pepper. Give it a good mix so that everything is coated.
Pop it in the oven for 10-15 minutes until they start to turn a golden brown colour. Becareful not to burn them!
And you’re done! The alternative to that packet of crisps that counts the calories and replaced with ‘crisps’ that pack the punch.
